After our course you will never look at a book the same again. We show you how books are constructed and introduce you to the fascinating world of paper, cloth and board - the simple ingredients that become such treasured objects.
Our course is intensive but fun. We have designed a roller coaster ride to allow you to achieve in one day what you might expect to take a week. We remove routine aspects from the process and provide a suite of equipment for each person to use for themselves. And no note-taking is necessary.

Painting a cover is a wonderful antidote to the precision needed in making a book. The painting session lets your creative spirit fly free. Bold, expressive techniques using quick-drying acrylic paint are needed to produce a design in the time available. Feel liberated!
